"Virginia Woolf's 'Orlando' is a novel that delves into the complexities of gender and time, detailing the extraordinary journey of Orlando across centuries of transformation.
For this Project, we used the film adaption written by Sally Potter.

"The Dark panelled banquet hall is lit by hundreds of candles; a fire blazes in the huge fireplace; a long polished table is covered entirely with orange and yellow sugared flowers."

With my main focus on a historical but also very expressive set and costume, I designed a "sugarcourse" in a Banquet hall inspired by Elizabethan Architecture. I first created concept art for both the set and the costumes of Orlando and Elizabeth. I then made a 1:25 model with Autocad and a Laser cutter, which I then painted and decorated to fit the historical visual research.
